Employee Referral Program

At their March 2022 meeting, the Board of Directors approved an employee recruitment program. This is an on-going program of the Human Resources Department as part of its recruitment campaign.

This program includes the implementation of a $500 referral bonus to any regular employee who refers a candidate hired by the District as a Regular, Full-time employee. Payment of the referral incentive would occur after the recommended new hire reaches their one-year service anniversary with the District.

To refer a candidate to a posted position, please send your referral name and position they are applying for via email to mpurugganan@goldengate.org. Any employee claims of a referral after a posting is closed will be considered invalid for the referral bonus, and will not be eligible for the bonus. Hence, please notify the Human Resources as soon as you make an applicant referral.
