Employee Development 

Our new Learning Management System (LMS), is now available in your NeoGOV portal. This comes with several online courses (1,000+++) on a variety of subjects including leadership development, employment, health and safety, and business skills.  Click on a training category below to download a full list of online courses available.

 


PLEASE NOTE: The course lists are Excel spreadsheets. If you use Chrome or Edge as your web browser, the files will automatically download to your computer. If you use Firefox, you will need to right click the link, then click "save as" to save the spreadsheet to your PC desktop. Web links and PDFs will open the same on all browsers.

These are courses that focus on soft skills, technical skills, and job specific competencies that is essential for employee development and optimal performance on the job.
 

Open to all District employees. With over 300++ of available courses. These courses are currently published in the LMS portal which you can directly enroll.

These are courses that focuse on District values, namely Service,  Respect, Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Recognition, Safety, and Inclusion.   
 

This is open to all District employees who are interested. At the moment, we have twenty-four (24) identified courses for this course category. These courses are currently published in the LMS portal which you can directly enroll.

These are courses designed to help leaders learn new techniques and refine old skills to run their team. It aims to develop and enhance a leader’s knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as provide tools, techniques and insights to lead teams, make strategic decisions, and inspire others. 
 

Open to all Supervisors, Managers and Executives. Interested staff may also enroll either upon recommendation of department supervisor/manager or by reaching out to Human Resources for registration. An employee can enroll a maximum of 3 courses at a time upon request and any additional request can be approved upon completion of enrolled course(s). We currently have 150++ available courses. These are courses that aims to provide the District workforce with knowledge and skills to perform work in a way that is safe for self and co-workers.

This is open to all District employees. With over 50++ of available courses. These courses are currently published in the LMS portal where you can directly enroll.

2. Once you are logged in, click on "training" in the left navigation, then "course catalog" to browse through available courses and enroll in the training of your choice.

1. Internal courses (taken through Neogov): This information will be automatically recorded in your employee profile in the NeoGOV portal.
 

2. External courses: To upload this information, access the portal and click on your name found at upper right-hand portion > select My Profile > click the "Training" tab. Under the Training tab, go to “add external learning” then click on the drop-down arrow. You will then find a plus (+) sign underneath the drop-down arrow which allows you to add your external training/courses. You can also add your certifications and/or licenses on this site.
